Circle for Mama

The land has been ravaged, as fires have torn across her, as animals have perished, homes burned, people utterly distraught and lives tragically lost - it has become increasingly challenging to stay centred, to feel hopeful. Our nervous systems are fraught and fatigued. How do we make sense of such tragedy? How do we nurture hope and healing in times of suffering? We must find and create ways to share our stories, to feel heard and to alchemise our angst into healing. We must take action!

This is a circle open to anyone who identifies as a Woman and/or Mother and needs a safe space to share, to dig our hands into the Earth and honour her, to offer her our prayers, our hopes, intentions and our commitment to becoming more aware, more radical and more self responsible: because this is what she needs from us all right now.

We invite you to join us in the Blue Mountains for a short walk and sacred circle held on the land in an area of Blackheath (the location will be sent to ticket holders via email) - This will be an opportunity to co create a sacred space, to share and to set an intention on the full moon.

We consider this to be ceremonial and ask that you dress for ceremony (whatever that means to you)

Bring shoes for the walk but be prepared to take them off and get your bare feet on the land!

Bring water and offerings (a plate of food, fruit), a blanket and warm clothes.

$10 from each ticket will go towards Gunnawirra's "Young Aboriginal Mothers" program
